Introduction

This is a journal of my ANDORRA HOLIDAY ⛱️! I went with my mum and with Oak Hall, a Christian organisation! Andorra is a little country sandwiched between Spain and France, and it has a native language called Catalan. It is a very mountainous ⛰️ region will hot 🥵 and cold 🥶 temperatures. The rocks 🪨there make hikes and walks difficult💩.

🈷️ They speak Catalan, Spanish, French, and Portuguese in Andorra. I already knew some Portuguese from the Portugal trip a year earlier. Although, `eu só falo un pouco de Pôrtugues!' (I only know a little bit of Portuguese!). Apparently half the population of Andorra speak Portuguese, so I took comfort in that number 🧮, I had a 50/50 chance 🎲 of either being understood or having a bad time communicating ❌🗣️.

Packing

It was forecasted to go up to 36°C 🌡️🥵! I brought 3 pairs of shorts 🩳, 4 T-Shirts 👕, 1 pair of trousers 👖, 5 pairs of socks 🧦, and much more clothing! It was quite fun 😊 to pack 💼, as it was kinda like Tetris! 🧳I also brought 2 notepads 📒, some pens 🖋️, my QiYi M Pro 3x3 🧩, my MoYu Timer ⌛, my phone 📱, and other fun games 🎮 I could enjoy 😊. Toothpaste, a toothbrush 🪥 and other essentials were brought as well. Because of the rocky 🪨 walks🧗🏻, I brought my walking boots 👢 with me!

I was carrying my Among Us bag 🛍️ 🤨 with my stuff and my mum was carrying her bag 🎒 and a large suitcase 🦣🛅. The suitcase was checked in ✔️ and my bag 💰 was a bit heavy 🪨!

Journal

29th July
🚐 to train station, 🚆 to London, Euston, 🚇 to London, Victoria, 🚆 to London, Gatwick, 👣to 🏨. In the hotel, we had a small and a big bed. At 🌃, it was really 🥵. Only 7 hours of 💤! The bus and train 🚃 🚂 were long, making it hard! 💨
30th July
Got up and treated myself to a nice Premier Inn continental breakfast . The Premier Inn was also right next to Gatwick Manor. I had a few Pain Au Chocolat, half a sourdough crumpet, and some Coco Pops. Munching on Sweet and Spicy Giant Wotsits️, I met up with Oak Hall in the South Terminal of Gatwick Airport. The ride on the plane was nice, I had a sandwich for lunch and I played a bit of Hangman. The flight was to Barcelona, Spain, followed by a coach to Andorra. The queue was really long, over 30 minutes! ⌚⏳It was really frustrating 😡.The coach ride was nice, but I was bewildered by the spice of Takis️! Dinner was already in our rooms when I arrived! I settled in nice, and the room was quite good! The entrance led to a corridor to the main room, with the bathroom branching off. The main room had two beds, with a few lamps and drawers. Past the main room, there was a BALCONY with an Amazing View!
31st July
Got up in my new hotel room, and I forgot I was on holiday! I looked past the balcony, marvelling at the mountains. I walked around the outdoor space, and saw that there was a bridge over a massive river with a waterfall, and with a swimming pool on the other side! I had breakfast and met someone who had studied language in University, and had a nice chat about Latin and Greek. I went on a 8.5 kilometre walk to Andorra La Vella, where I ate McDonald's McFlurries! To get there, I had to slide under a fence, which was very adventurous! I was quite worn out.
1st August
I had a nice breakfast and went canoeing! I canoed at Olympic Park in Spain then headed to another town, where I got an oreo ice cream. Other people went kayaking and paddleboarding. I had a big dinner, with some delicious chocolate mousse.
2nd August
I kicked the morning off with some calm mini golf, and nearly got a hole in one on the hill hole. I then chilled at the pool for a while. I was surprised that the hotel had so many activities!
3rd August
I visited another cool place and it was really hot! It was a bit hard to focus on the tourist attractions!
4th August
Another travel-free chill day, and I played some tennis and rested in the refreshing pool. Not much to note here though.
5th August
I visited a few nice Andorran villages and there was a high up church that I had to climb up the mountain to. I also bought an Andorra hat!
6th August
I took the flight to London and the sleep wasn't was not as hot as it was on the 29th. Passport Control didn't take as long this time.
7th August And this is where the story ends! I returned home to Manchester and enjoyed my own cozy bed!
